Highlights

Recognized as a “Best Practice” in Rails-to-Trails Physical Activity & Public Health, Best Practices for Improving a Community’s Activity Quotient.

Received “Meritorious Award” from RI Public Health Association

68% of after school program youth improved their academic grades

Held First Annual Spring Concert on March 23 at Phillips Memorial Church

Honored Juanita Bedard and sewing volunteers and Amica Insurance at the “Healthy Person, Healthy Family, Healthy Neighborhood” fall dinner.

Honored Nancy Bancroft and Polly Erickson, co-chairs of the Fall Fundraising Dinner Silent Auction as our “Partners in Philanthropy.”

Completed license application to RI DCYF for youth programs

Completed Planning Study with Synthesis Partnership

Completed architectural feasibiltiy study of 753 Broad Street, decided site not feasible for Neighborhood Ministries

* 5,459 emergency food boxes

* 3,903 families received bread & produce

* 281 families received fish

* 388 Thanksgiving food boxes

* Christmas for 1,016 children
